Champlain Valley Small Animal Mobile Clinic (CVSAMC) is a moblie veterinary medical service for dogs, cats, and other small companion animals. Randall N. Ross, VMD, CVSAMC's owner and medical practitioner, is well-known in the Champlain Valley and well-liked by pets and their owners.  Randy is assisted by Lynda Malzac, a competent veterinary technician who loves animals and has a very gentle approach that your pet will appreciate.  CVSAMC provides veterinary services at your pet's home using state-of-the-art technology and equipment housed in a custom designed four wheel drive vehicle.   The idea of quality home care for the companion animal has been part of veterinary medicine for around twenty years.  It first began in California and slowly moved eastward.  The first small animal mobile practice in Vermont began in 1986 right here in the Champlain Valley.  In fact, that practice was owned and operated successfully by Randall N. Ross, VMD.    The science of veterinary medicine has changed immensely since those early days.  Telemedicine now allows images to be transfered from your pet via the wireless superhighway to a specialist across the country or around the world for diagnosis and treatment.  There are new medical options that now allow for simple in-home treatments of diseases that previously would require hospitalization.  Disease prevention continues to become more and more precise and effective with each new year.   Randall N.
